On May 30 St John of God Foundation held its Annual Donors and Friends Cocktail Evening.

Hosted by St John of God Foundation Chairman and St John of God Health Care Group CEO Dr Shane Kelly the event acknowledged and celebrated the impact of the Foundation’s generous supporters over the past 12 months.
Held at Acqua Viva on the Swan the evening provided the opportunity for donors, researchers, and advocates to meet and recognise the impact of their support on improving healthcare outcomes in Australia.
St John of God Health Care Board Chair, the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AC spoke about improved outcomes including improved outcomes for cardiac patients through the use of transcatheter aortic valve implementation (TAVI) equipment providing better recovery, safer treatment and less pain for patients.
St John of God Foundation CEO Ms Bianca Pietralla also shared incredible personal stories of patients who had received life-changing treatment thanks to generous donor support and communicated the renewed purpose of the Foundation to transform healthcare through excellence in personalised patient treatment and leading medical research.
Guests enjoyed cocktail food and beverages from Acqua Viva on the Swan, and were entertained by jazz vocalist, Earl Cole.
