Caregivers grateful for support to access new equipment.
September 2026
Thanks to the generosity of the Griffiths Family, patients at St John of God Geelong Hospital are experiencing greater comfort and confidence throughout their treatment journey.
New equipment funded through their donation includes a Sonosite Ultrasound, helping theatre teams perform critical procedures with greater accuracy while reducing discomfort, anxiety and repeated needle attempts during vulnerable moments of care.
The family has also funded a Paxman Cooling Cap System for oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy. By helping to reduce hair loss during treatment, the system can have a meaningful impact on confidence, identity, and emotional wellbeing at a time when patients are facing significant challenges.
We are deeply grateful to the Griffiths Family for their generosity. Their contribution is enhancing the experience of care for patients and families, and helping caregivers provide not only exceptional clinical treatment, but also reassurance, dignity and hope when it is needed most.
