Our compassionate donor community has supported medical innovation, world-leading medical research and transformational health care for patients in our communities.

It’s our privilege to bring supporters closer to the areas of impact they find most meaningful, connecting people with the patients and their families who will truly benefit from their compassion and generosity.

Hear from some of our supporters about why they choose to help make a difference for people in their time of greatest need.

My family has had a strong connection with St John of God Subiaco Hospital for more than 30 years. It’s a pleasure to be able to give back to the hospital and to the community, a value which was instilled in us by our father.

Rigoni Family - Why I became a donor

"While it felt like no gift could ever express our gratitude, my husband and I decided a donation to the Special Care Nursery would be a lasting gift and will contribute to the amazing job the team will continue to do for thousands of other precious babies in the future.”

 – Laura Rigoni, grateful patient at St John of God Geelong Hospital

Both my wife and I have been affected by cancer, which is why we are committed to supporting better health outcomes for others; for generations to come. Research is so important because it is the only way we can get closer to finding answers, to finding a cure.

Suzanne Hughes, St John of God Bunbury Hospital donor
We all want our patients to have access to the best treatment options, so we decided to host a fundraising raffle to support cancer research. It was great to see how excited everyone was to get involved. Some of our patients donated blankets to be included in the raffle prize.
